"I laughed so hard the tears ran down my leg."The funny incidents, the strange goings on and the comic situations encountered as a Police Sergeant. Guaranteed to make anyone with the slightest sense of humour laugh out loud. A book worth reading for the 'Hokey, Cokey in the pokey' scene alone.

He's done it again!! More stories of life on the beat, this time with some added responsibility as a Sergeant and some of the problems the cops create for you. A cracking read for the summer. Can't wait for the next one Malky!

A very enjoyable read this, many funny anecdotes but the best was the one about anger management, I was sniggering about that for the rest of the evening.

A great read on its own but it is even better when you recognise the cops involved.

Very entertaining. Goes along at a cracking pace. As someone who was in the English Prison Service I very much recognise his description of management redesigning promotion procedures to filter out those who prepared to say when the Emperor has no clothes.
